The WordPress Gutenberg editor brings a new block-based approach to creating content in WordPress. Rather than having a single unified text box like the classic TinyMCE editor, each bit of content you have in Gutenberg has its own block:
- Such as a paragraph has its own block
- Each image has its own block
- A blockquote has its own block.. you get the idea
One of the impressive features of Gutenberg is that it’s opens up the possibility for many third party developers to add their own blocks that you can use while creating content with Gutenberg.
