The jQuery developer community has always been one of the most generous and hardworking group of people on the web.

As most of the community been constantly churning out amazingly useful and completely free tools to share with anyone and everyone who wants to use them.  So for today’s post I’ve search high and low to gather 10 fresh & awesome jQuery plugins that will help you refresh your projects up or even create new projects.

1. jQRangeSlider


A powerful slider for selecting value ranges, supporting dates and more.

2. jQuery Store Location Plugin


This jQuery plugin takes advantage of Google Maps API version 3 to create an easy to implement store locator. No back-end programming is required, you just need to feed it KML, XML, or JSON data with all the location information. How you create the data file is up to you.

jQuery Sortable is a flexible, opinionated sorting plugin. It enables items in a list (or table etc.) to be sorted horizontally and vertically using the mouse. Supports nested lists and pure drag/drop containers.  jQuery Sortable does not depend on jQuery UI and works well with Twitter’s Bootstrap (You can even sort the Bootstrap navigation).

10. Simple Fade Slideshow


Simple Fade SlideShow is a very simple and easy to use fade-image slideshow. Its structure is very flexible and you can use it for image and / or content transition. Simple Fade SlideShow is highly customizable with CSS and it can either create the list and buttons automatically or you can create your own individual elements and Simple Fade SlideShow will only bind the relevant functions.
