Fonts are a designer best friend when there many of them are very good for creative graphic typographic works, unique web design titles and so on. There are so many fonts that have been made these first 3 months of this year so enjoy today post of 15 New Free Fonts For Creative Projects.

Note – before downloading are using these fonts for commercial projects, check out creator copyrights because all of these fonts are free for personal use but some can’t be use for commercial projects.

1. Sullivan

Not your traditional modular typeface. Sullivan is a bold display face that comes in three variations. Each can be used effectively on their own or layered for a uniquely modern, industrial effect.  Originally inspired by the letter “S” design by Scott Allen Hill of Foundry Collective.

2. Abraham Lincoln

Inspired by the proportions of the 16th President of the USA, and advertisements/playbills of the 1800s, Abraham Lincoln is a humanistic display face with noderate contrast and sturdy serifs.

3. Geared

Geared is an industrial inspired Condensed Slab Serif in 4 weights (Thin, Regular, Bold, Extrabold). With an extensive character set, Geared could be a versatile addition to your next project.

4. Bemio

Bemio is an ultrabold sans with an extensive character set. It bridges the gap between old signage and craftsmanship with modern forms and simplicity. With more than 1000 glyphs, and full Language Support, Bemio is versatile and robust.

7. Meander

Meander is a free face creating a freestyle winding and intertwining style. Curly, twirly, swirly font for an illustrative effect. Made by doodling with felt pens, this font is best used at larger sizes.

8. Bispo

Bispo is a script typeface made inspiring on italic chancery calligraphy, with a flat nib pen and a module of 10 pen widths. I decided to make this typeface after months studying calligraphy, to allow everyone be able to create pieces with a charm of calligraphy, taking advantage of the Opentype features.

9. Exo Font Family

Exo its geometric sans serif font family. Its design started almost two years ago as way to discover typography in a more advanced way. Exo is a very complete font family, it has 9 weights both in regular and true italic versions.

Each font comes with a lot of opentype features such as small caps, ligatures, alternates, oldstyle figures, tabular figures, fractions, and more. Exo is a successful Kickstarter project.

Now you can use this font for free (under the SIL Open Font License 1.1).

10. Static

Static  is contemporary free font constructed with strong geometric forms in monospaced style. Applicable for any type of graphic design – web, print, motion graphics etc and perfect for t-shirts and other items like posters, logos.

11. Metropolis

Metropolis comes from the the industrial movement of the 1920′s where skyscrapers where born. “Greatly inspired by the double line work of Twin by Mark El-Khatib, I wanted to create my own Art Deco style font using this technique. The result is a bold, bumptious typeface with a stolidly calm disposition.”

12. Hagin

Hagin is a new serif  free font from Fontfabric constructed with strong geometric forms in ”old school” style.  Applicable for any type of graphic design – web, print, motion graphics etc and perfect for t-shirts and other items like posters, logos. Have fun!

13. Rex

Rex is a font family with three weights – light, bold and bold inline – that was designed to create unique titles on the fly. It’s all caps font, but there is a difference between both – caps & small caps (see in the examples).

Applicable for any type of graphic design – web, print, motion graphics etc and perfect for t-shirts and other items like posters, logos. Cyrillic version is included. Have fun! Available for both – personal and commercial purpose

14. Intro

What distinguishes the new Intro free font from FontFabric is the strongly expressed geometric makeup and structure. The basic letters of the Alphabet like “A”, “O” and “H” are built or based on principles of simple geometric forms – triangles, circles and squares. In contrast to the Futura font which possesses similar styling, the Intro font preserves the characteristic sharpened edges of the “А”, “V” and “W” letters even in it’s boldened form.

15. Frontage Outline

Frontage is a charming layered type system with endless design possibilities using different combinations of fonts and colors. Achieve a realistic 3D effect by adding the shadow font or just use the capital letters of the regular and bold cut for stark artwork. Please note that Frontage outline is the only free font from this font family
