MotorCortex

StartNinja – Mac OSX 10.7+ App – Free

Macs don’t have a built-in way to mute or silence the system start up chime. If you’re in a library or coffee shop you don’t always want that start up chime to play. Now you can silence the Mac OS X Lion start up chime with StartNinja. It is a free and simple desktop utility that silences the start up chime and will resume previous sound level after logging in.

Notifyr – iOS App – Free

Notifyr is an iOS app that lets you receive notification on your Mac, with Notifyr, you will never miss any of your notification again, as you can keep your phone in your pocket and still know what’s going on. For example you can read your incoming WhatsApp messages, see who’s following you on Instagram or read any of the other kind of notifications from any app on your iPhone. It’s also possible to mute notifications from any app you like.

Once paired, you’ll never need to open the app on your phone again. When the connection gets lost, Notifyr will automatically reconnect to your phone once it becomes available again.

Screenshotter is an iOS app that makes it incredibly simple to organise and manage the screenshots you take with your iPhone but can also works on your iPad or your iPod touch. It’s automatically identifies screenshots and makes it easy to organize them into folders.

CodeSnip.it is a free code snippet tool that keeps all your moments of genius safe for whenever you need them. You’ll never forget how you coded anything again.

Pancake – Web App – Free

Pancake is built on a simple idea and that is to publish static sites easily, whether from your Dropbox account or from a git repository. Pancake reads files from your Dropbox folder, and makes them available from the web.

With Pancake you can embed an automatically updating list of your Dropbox files on any website, as there is a built-in Generator that convert text files automatically. You can also edit your Dropbox-hosted site from their web interface.

JSNice – Web App – Free

JS Nice makes even obfuscated JavaScript code readable, it’s a new kind of statistical de-obfuscation and de-minification engine for JavaScript. Given a JavaScript program, JSNice automatically suggests new likely identifier names and types. JSNice uses advanced machine learning and program analysis techniques to learn name and type regularities from large amounts of available open source projects. Then, given new JavaScript code, JSNice probabilistically infers newly suggested names and types for all of the local variables and function parameters.

Filament

Filament is an app store that is just for your website, as it’s lets you easily install free apps on your site with a drag-and-drop interface without any coding knowledge.

Pleeease

Pleeease is a CSS post-processor, as the main goal of this tool is to perform all treatments that a pre-processor shouldn’t have to do! (eg, dealing with prefixes, convert rem to px, support older browsers, etc.). Just learn how to configure it and let Pleeease do the job for you*.

Pleeease is also a great tool if you want to write DRY, future-proof CSS, for now, it adds prefixes, variables, pseudo-elements and rem unit support, packs same media-query in one @media rule, inline @import styles and minify the result.
