This post extends from my earlier post of 50 New Handpicked Goodies For Web Designers & Developers For March 2014 as I didn’t want to bury you with a mega list of great resources basically down below you will find as some great JavaScript tools, jQuery plugins, Apps for your Desktop, Web, Mobile devices and a plugin for Photoshop.

And I’ve also include some awesome items in Mobile framework, new CSS awesomeness, Responsive Web Design and some great WordPress Plugins & Themes that really deserve your attention.

JavaScript & jQuery Plugins

Scroll Depth

Scroll Depth is a small Google Analytics plugin that you will need to include jQuery that will allows you to measure how far down the page your users are scrolling. This plugin monitors the 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100% scroll points by sending a Google Analytics Event at each one.

And with Scroll Depth you can also track when specific elements on the page are scrolled into view. For example if you run a blog you could send a Scroll Depth event whenever the user reaches the end of a post. The plugin supports Universal Analytics, Classic Google Analytics, and Google Tag Manager.

Mix It Up

MixItUp is a jQuery plugin that provides animated filtering and sorting. As it is great for managing any categorizsed or ordered content like portfolios, galleries and blogs, but can also function as a powerful tool for engaging application UI and data-visualisation.

MixItUp will plays nice with your existing HTML and CSS, by making it a great choice for responsive layouts. Rather than using absolute positioning to control layout, MixItUp is designed to work with your existing inline-flow layout and if you are wanting to use percentages, media queries, inline-block, or even flex box? No problem.

Gremlins

Gremlins.js is a monkey testing library written in JavaScript, for Node.js and the browser. Use it to check the robustness of web applications by unleashing a horde of undisciplined gremlins.

As Gremlins.js simulates random user actions: such as clicking anywhere in the window, enter random data in forms, or move the mouse over elements that don’t expect it. The goal is to trigger JavaScript errors, or making the application fail. If gremlins can’t break an application, congrats! The application is robust enough to be released to real users.

Nanonbar.js

Nanobar.js is very lightweight progress bars at around 725 bytes when gzipped. It doesn’t require jQuery and is easy to use.
